This course is intended to expand upon the concepts taught in the introductory course. It is recommended that you complete the Introduction to Localscapes class before beginning this course. Localscapes University teaches students how to apply the Localscapes concepts in your own yard.
Your Instructor

Shaun Moser:
As the Conservation Garden Park Manager for the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District, Shaun oversees all maintenance and aesthetics of the garden, as well as teaching to the public throughout the state. He's well versed in the creation, installation and management of residential landscapes. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Residential Landscape Design & Construction from Utah State University.
Amanda Strack:
As the Conservation Programs Coordinator for the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District, Amanda is well-known to our local learners. Amanda and her team work with individual homeowners through landscape consultations, as well as the Flip Your Strip and Localscapes Rewards rebate programs. She has extensive experience helping homeowners transition their Localscapes training into successfully completed projects. Amanda holds a Bachelor's Degree in Residential Design and Construction from Utah State University.
